Cheers to 2024!
Happy holidays to all of my friends!
As I write this, I am realizing that it has been one year since I have written in my blog… A whole stinkin’ year!
Now, I can say that I have been busy, which is true… And I can say that my life has changed a lot in this last year, which is also true. However, when is life ever NOT busy or evolving? So, simply put, I have no excuses.
But what I hope you all have seen and are understanding is that I have not gone anywhere! I am still fully submersed in my passion for helping others find their own strength and happiness and I’m still kickin’ it, my friends!
To recap my year, I must say that overall, 2023 has been phenomenal. I have grown so much, learned so much, and really dialed my focus in on being the best coach and trainer that I want to be for you guys. This year allowed me to meet some of the most amazing people and I am forever grateful for the experiences I have had and lessons I have learned. Ending this year, I truly feel the most fulfilled and the most accepting of myself than I ever have in my life.
So, now we look ahead to another year. 2024, here we come!
I typically don’t suggest that people make new years resolutions, because we all know that, statistically, these resolutions aren’t kept. I mean, why set yourself up for failure..? However, the new year falls right after all of the holidays, when our daily routines, workout times, and eating habits are thrown for a loop because of the busy-ness of the month.
So, resolutions aside, do you have any goals or plans for getting back on track and back into your normal routine once the holidays are over?
I would like to challenge you… By the end of this week, in what is our last normal week of 2023 before the holidays are actually here, choose a main goal for next month. Just one thing. Something you would like to work on for the month of January. Ideally, take a look back at over your last year and celebrate your *wins* for the year and realistically think about ways you can and want to improve your routine. Choose one goal and create a plan of action for completing it next month.
How cool would it be to be able to conquer one goal every month next year? Every month, setting a goal, accomplishing it, and sticking with it as you add in a new goal for the next month. By 2025, you can have 12 new, amazing goals *crushed*!!! I say let’s do it!
